Outdoor Camping: July 2-4 2011 - Understanding Quran and Istiqama

Tarbiyah Islamic School of Delaware is taking its students and their families for a three day camping field trip during July 2 -4, 2011 at a full service camping facility in Lewisberry, PA . There are many activities for all age groups such as story time for children, volley ball/football for youth, cricket, hiking etc. Sisters have their own exclusive events. There is a special food arrangement (2 dinners and 2 breakfasts) which we hope you will all enjoy.

The theme is focused on Istiqama, as a principle of Tarbiyah educational pedagogy, and creating awareness on reading and studying Quran, hope we will all learn from it.

Sh Mohammad Iqbal Nadwi, Br. Ishtiaq Gondal, Imam Halimi and Dr Mohsin Ansari will address issues and importance of understanding Quran during the camp.

Saturday July 2: (All timings are estimated)

  • Arrival / Setup Time 11:00 am
  • Zuhr with Asr Salat 2:00 pm-2:30 pm
  • Program Introduction and rules for the camp
  • Sports Time soccer boys 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
  • Sisters Event (Sisters only) 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
  • Asr Salat for locals 5:30 pm – 6:00 pm Main
  • Hiking Trail (kids) 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm Main
  • Dinner Served 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Maghrib and Isha Salat 8:30 pm - 9:00 pm
  • Story Time (Kids) 9:00 pm – 10:00 pm
  • First program 9:00 pm – 10:30pm

Sunday July 3:

  • Hiking Time 6:00 am-7:00 am
  • Breakfast Served 7:00 am-9:00 am
  • Cleanup / Pack up 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
  • Zuhr with Asr Salat 1:00pm
  • Dua and End 1:00 pm Depart back for Home
